Informed consent in Panama

In a document that must be presented to every patient whose body is going to be invaded with a diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedure. The patient has the right to be informed about what is planned for him and the doctor has the obligation not only to explain it to him but to invite him to sign a document called "informed consent", while informing him about the options or alternatives that can be offered for your diagnosis, treatment and recovery. That is what Law Nº 68 of November 20, 2003 requires.
